Eat a Burger, Fund a Farmer
Join us tonight 7/24 from 5-7:30 pm at our Colfax Ave location and support the Niman Ranch Next Generation Foundation.
At Niman Ranch, they spend a lot of time thinking about where good food comes from and who’s going to carry it forward. The Niman Ranch Next Generation Foundation is a big part of that. Since 2006, it has invested over $2 million into the kids of Niman Ranch farmers and young producers across the country, helping them stay connected to the land, build viable farms, and do things the right way. Scholarships, farm grants, and support for regenerative practices are all aimed at keeping family farming not just alive, but evolving.
And this is where Marczyk Fine Foods comes in. Since the beginning, Marczyk Fine Foods and the Marczyk community have shown up in a real way, contributing every year and helping raise more than $350,000 for the Foundation. That kind of support helps shape the future of the food system in a very real, tangible way. So when you are Rounding Up at the Register or enjoying a Niman Ranch burger at this weekend’s Burger Night, where proceeds support the Foundation, you are part of that story.
You will also have the chance to meet Derek and Jessica Brown, who first made the trip out for Burger Night back in 2014. Today, they are back on their family farm, building something of their own and carrying it forward. They are exactly the kind of people this Foundation exists to support.
It is a full-circle moment and a reminder that behind every great burger, there is a next generation stepping in and making sure this way of farming continues.
